Combining beauty with utility, Thomas Keith creates handmade tables that celebrate timeless design and considered craftsmanship. Inspired by the hospitality and warmth of regional Australia, each piece speaks to a sense of belonging, and instantly becomes the gathering point of any space.

As a small team of designers and makers, we’re dedicated to creating quality timber pieces that channel a sense of community and connection. In working the timber by hand and respecting the perfect imperfections of the material, we design robust pieces that only get better with age and use.

Tom
Founder, managing director and chief craftsman
With a background in farming, Tom is a self-taught timber craftsman who gained his skills through trial, error and repetition. After launching Thomas Keith in 2015, he quickly recognised the deep connection customers felt to his timber pieces. Through sourcing the most sustainable and quality materials to work with, Tom ensures this connection continues with every new piece he creates.
Maddy
Creative director and designer
During her long career in healthcare, Maddy became acutely aware of the many ways in which our surroundings can impact our health and wellbeing. This realisation sparked a desire to study interior design in an effort to create future spaces that are warm, comfortable and inviting. Having joined Thomas Keith in 2022, Maddy now works alongside Tom designing pieces that are crafted for all of life’s moments – both big and small.
